Happy Fall! Fall is my FAVORITE season. The autumnal Equinox happened this weekend and since we are on the brink of weather changes, I wanted to share with you two things that I believe will help you make a healthy seasonal transition.
So here we go…
Basically, it involves a lot of taking care of yourself. Regular acupuncture appointments can help support a robust immune system. But even a few treatments during change of season can help mitigate seasonal allergies and duration of colds. Internally, any type of consistent self care routine will help you integrate the inward moving energy this time of year.
A healthy self care routine for Seasonal Transition may include:
- Weekly cleansing baths (epsom salts, baking soda, essential oils)
- Massage therapy
- Keeping a diary or journal
- Yoga
- Meditation
- Quiet time by yourself
- Allowing yourself to rest (even for 20 minutes!)
- Taking a walk in nature
- Anything that makes you feel grounded and relaxed
I have my favorites (meditation, quiet time, being outside, massage therapy) but self care can look different for everybody. The most important thing is to find something that works for you AND that you can do consistently. Be patient, habits take awhile to form but it is worth it in order to reap the rewards. Self care benefits our mental AND physical states. So set some boundaries and reconnect with yourself again and again on a regular basis.

I plan on posting more short videos on my YouTube channel, so please subscribe HERE! I also have another video on YouTube covering 3 OTHER tips for fall (from last year), so feel free to view that and leave any comments or questions below. Also, if you have specific questions about what you would like to see videos of (informational or otherwise) please let me know!
